Under Graduate (MBBS) Course
MBBS (150 seats) Under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata 100 seats are fully recognized by MCI. Rest 50 seats are currently permitted and are due to undergo inspection for 5th renewal after July, 2017.

Admission to Undergraduate MBBS course is strictly on merit basis in Joint Entrance Examination on State and National level.

The MBBS Course is divided in to three Professional courses. 1st Professional course consists of two semesters of six month each. Ordinarily, the first professional course starts in August every year. After successful completion and passing internal assessment and prescribed examination, a student is taken to Second Professional MBBS Course which consists of three semesters, each of six months duration. After successful completion of 2nd Professional Course, a student is taken to 3rd Professional MBBS Course which consists of seven semesters, each of six month duration.

There will be Two examinations in a year during 3rd MBBS Professional Course.
